Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

RGO Office Products Edmonton Ltd. is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team.  The Account Manager focuses on creating and maintaining a strong customer experience through relationships with new and existing customers, and continually driving growth from both new sales and share of wallet growth.  This position is expected to develop and implement a territory coverage strategy that creates new selling opportunities from new customers and house accounts.  The Account Manager is accountable for all milestones of the sales process including networking, prospecting, qualifying and planning, design and development, proposal, negotiation, and post-sale.

Key Responsibilities: 

Account Management

  • Develop share of wallet growth within house accounts to increase RGO’s profitability
  • Provide ongoing customer service to RGO house and/or vertical specific accounts
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with primary account contacts on a quarterly basis
  • Continually develop RGO’s position and relationships within account listing

Lead Generation

  • Develop business growth from house and competitive accounts
  • Sell additional lines of business to customers to increase share of wallet
  • Utilize personal means to create selling opportunities

Opportunity Management

  • Find, develop and win opportunities into profitable sales
  • Lead project from inception to completion
  • RFP positioning, strategy and response ownership
  • Work with Business Developers and other sales support staff to manage selling opportunities
  • Ownership of Selling Process

Administrative & Communication

  • Maintain all customer interactions, meetings, tours and selling opportunities in RGO’s customer relationship manager, SugarCRM

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years related experience
  • Post-secondary related education
  • Self-motivated, action orientated, and detailed
  • Able to overcome obstacles to complete tasks
  • High degree of multi-tasking items that vary in length over hours, days, or weeks
  • Strong computer skills in handling MS Excel, MS Word, and use of a business system (Hedberg)
  • Analytical, selling, mathematical, communication and organizational skills are required
